Picture Perfect Patriotism
Photo Contest Rules

All photos must be patriotic in nature.
Open to the Public.
Must be 18 or older.

$25.00 entry fee – Checks should be payable to Wounded Warrior Project.
Photos must be 8x10 in size – mailed in an envelope marked DO NOT BEND to:

Each photo should be labeled on the back with your name, address and phone number on the back and accompanied by a signed release. Releases may be obtained online at Welcometosaintaugustine.com. All entries must be postmarked by August 31, 2008. No photos will be returned.

Photos submitted may be used for other Wounded Warrior Project fundraisers or promotional efforts/articles.

First Place winner will receive $200.00
Second Place winner will receive $150.00
Third Place winner will receive $100.00

The First Place winner’s photo will be reproduced on canvas by Ann McGlade.  The painting will be auctioned off later this year with net proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.  The first place winner will receive a numbered Giclee of the painting.

Judging will be conducted by an independent panel.

Photo Release

For good and valuable Consideration herein acknowledged as received, and by signing this release I hereby give the Wounded Warrior Project organization and Assigns, my permission to license the Images and to use the Images in any media for any purpose (except pornographic or defamatory) which may include, among others, advertising, promotion, marketing, packaging or reproduction for any product or service.  These photographs may be used in any lawful manner, an I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written copy, that may be created in connection therewith, or to the use to which it may be applied.  I understand that it may be reproduced on canvas and the artist may make minor modifications or “artist privileges” as needed to convey the intended patriotic message.

I agree that I have no rights to the Images and all rights to the Images belong to the Wounded Warrior Project organization and Assigns.  I acknowledge and agree that I have no further right to additional consideration or accounting, and that I will make no further claim for any reason.  I agree that this release is binding upon my heirs and assigns, is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual and will be governed by the laws of the United States.

I represent and warrant that I am at least 18 years of age and have the full legal capacity to execute this release.
